        <description><![CDATA[<p>I made the switch to the Mac version within the past few months and I was thrilled to see it could support both US and Canadian accounts.  However, I have recently had issues with it automatically entering manual transfers.</p><p>The first occurrence was right after downloading a wire transfer from an NBIN account (Canadian in USD) to a checking account in the US.  The NBIN account does not show transactions at all, it is just the minimal view of the running value of the account.  After the download, I noticed my balance was way off on one of my Schwab investment accounts (USD), it was showing the wire transfer as a <strong>manual</strong> entry, as well as the wire transfer fee as a <strong>manual</strong> entry, both were linked to the NBIN account.  I was confused, thinking I had manually entered it into the wrong account, but then I realized I did not enter it because I didn't know what the transfer fee would be to enter it manually.  Then I realized that the NBIN transactions tab is disabled, and I couldn't go to the other end of this transfer.  If I attempt to remove the transfer, it affected the balance on NBIN, even though the transactions tab is disabled.  I ended up moving the transfer to the checking account and matching the transaction.  The transfer fee however…I had to delete it because it wasn't a transfer and didn't belong in this account (maybe there was another way to fix that, idk) and it affected the balance.  I don't know if the balance will reset the next download or if it will permanently be off by $20.</p><p>Fast forward two weeks, there was a transfer made from a relative into our TD Canada Trust account (CAD).  When this downloaded, it appears in the account with the Payee showing as "Transfer", and this is also linked to the same Schwab account (USD).  When I look in the Schwab account, I see another <strong>manual</strong> entry automatically generated.  But this time I can see both ends of this transfer.  These are accounts in different currencies, straight up transfer with no currency exchange that it automatically entered, and only the Schwab account shows it as a manual entry, the TD account shows it was automatically downloaded.<br /><br />
This appears to only be happening when some form of transfer is made with a Canadian account.   When I moved funds between the US checking and Schwab accounts, it seems to automatically link the transactions correctly, with both ends showing the transactions were downloaded.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I can't automatically update my VanCity accounts any more. I am using Quicken Deluxe Canada Version 8.4.2 (Build 804.59835.100).</p><p>So as a workaround, I went to VanCity and downloaded the .QFX file for one of my VanCity accounts.         <description><![CDATA[<p>I wanted to document a pretty frustrating experience in case others are running into the same thing, and honestly to ask whether there is any real path to getting this fixed.</p><p>I called Quicken support to report that the Wealthsimple integration appears to be broken and is bizarrely using a Mint.com access token. To my absolute astonishment, at the suggestion of the support agent, I entered my Wealthsimple password into the Mint token flow and it actually proceeded to the next screen and let me add accounts.</p><p>So yes, the integration “kind of” works, but in a very broken way.</p><p>What I saw:<br />
•	The connection is mislabeled as Mint.com, not Wealthsimple<br />
•	Some accounts showed up (for example, my cash accounts)<br />
•	The most important account for me, the Wealthsimple credit card, was completely missing<br />
•	Transactions in the checking/cash account were clearly wrong or partially wrong<br />
•	Vendor names were mangled or nonsensical</p><p>In other words, this is not a user error. Something is fundamentally wrong with the connector.</p><p>First support call:</p><p>The first agent acknowledged there was likely an integration problem and was eager to file an issue with Quicken’s internal bank integration team. However, the process was unbelievably slow and repetitive. She spent about 30 minutes filling out forms, asking me the same questions multiple times, and reading scripts. I had clearly demonstrated the issue.</p><p>Eventually I had to leave for work. She told me that unless I completed their exact process, exactly the way their developers require, nothing would be investigated or fixed. She gave me a ticket number and said I could call back to finish it later.</p><p>Ticket number: 12167467</p><p>Because support hours are limited, I work full time, and I have many other responsibilities, it took me about a week to call back.</p><p>Second support call (today):<br />
•	About 20 minutes on hold before reaching someone<br />
•	Roughly 25 minutes either showing him the issue on screen or waiting in long silences while he “worked on it”<br />
•	He repeatedly insisted the problem must be something wrong with my bank settings<br />
•	I pushed back and explained, again, that this is clearly a broken integration<br />
•	He said he would “look into filing a bug”<br />
•	He went quiet and said “I need some time”<br />
•	We were screen sharing the entire time<br />
•	Then he hung up<br />
•	No call back</p><p>I was still screen sharing with Quicken support and eventually had to end the session myself. At that point the support queue was back up to 30 minutes, so I gave up.</p><p>So I am genuinely asking:</p><p>Is there actually a way to get Quicken to fix their program when a bank integration is broken like this?<br />
Or is the reality that I should stop wasting time and move on to something else?</p><p>I am not a casual user. I am pointing out a very real, very concrete integration failure with a major Canadian financial institution. The integration is mislabeled, incomplete, and demonstrably incorrect.</p><p>Right now, the support process makes it feel like there is no real escalation path and no ownership of issues like this. If anyone from Quicken monitors these forums, I would genuinely like to know what the intended path is here, because from the outside it looks like there isn’t one.</p>]]>

The displayed number of security positions doesn't match the actual number in the accounts.  The total aggregated number of security positions across all accounts can vary on each one-step download. The number is predominantly consistent yet can change randomly.  The positions are missing appear to be random.  This suggests a time-out issue. Additionally, the currency conversions are not consistently being performed.         <description><![CDATA[<p>Hi all,</p><p>I’m using <strong>Quicken Classic for Mac (Canada)</strong> with a <strong>PC Financial</strong> account, which does <strong>not support direct connectivity</strong>, so I rely on <strong>manual QFX downloads</strong>.</p><p>I’ve noticed the following behavior, which I can reproduce consistently:</p><ul><li>Importing a QFX file into a <strong>clean account</strong> works correctly (transaction count and balance are correct).</li><li>Re-importing the <strong>same QFX file</strong>, or importing a <strong>new QFX export covering the same date range</strong>, results in <strong>duplicate transactions</strong> being added.</li><li>Transaction count increases and balances change (even if nothing was edited).</li><li>There appears to be <strong>no safe way to “refresh” or re-import overlapping data</strong> without causing duplicates.</li></ul><p>I understand Quicken recommends avoiding overlapping imports, but for users without bank connectivity this makes frequent updates difficult unless we strictly import <strong>non-overlapping date ranges</strong> or wait for <strong>statement-period downloads</strong>.</p><p>For comparison, I tested the same QFX files in iFinance for Mac and duplicate imports are safely ignored.</p><p><strong>My questions:</strong></p><ul><li>Is this behavior expected for Quicken Mac with manual QFX imports?</li><li>Is using <strong>statement-period downloads only</strong> the recommended workaround?</li><li>Are there any best practices for Canadian users without direct bank connections who want more frequent updates?</li></ul><p>Thanks in advance — just looking to confirm whether this is a limitation or if I’m missing something.</p><p>Kevin</p>]]>

 </p><p>Anyway, I don't want to pay for the elevated price for Premier for another year and want to find a comparison price page for all the plans that includes Simplifi. I also want to now how to downgrade without interrupting the amount of time I have left on Premier but before doing so I want to know which functionality I'd be losing by going with Simplifi (assuming it's a lot cheaper).</p><p>I've tried using Premier for a year but it's too much for me and I'm probably only using 10% of the features.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>TSE:UNH seems missing in Quicken at the moment.  </p><p>I was able to connect to my Wealthsimple trading accounts today, what a surprise, Quite happy to see this finally (almost gave up a year ago).</p><p>CDR for AMD, TSLA, GOOG, NVDA all showing properly without problem, except UNH still showing NYSE unit price.  Please help to update, as far as I know for now, CIBC has total of 101 CDR symbols trading in CBOE.</p>]]>

I'm on Quicken Deluxe for Mac, version 8.2.1 (Build 802.57282.100) and I have no issues logging into online banking.
