I’m sorry to hear that Quicken has not updated their interface so that it syncs with our new app. I reached out to our Online Banking Support Team again to investigate and was told that we have recently <strong>reached out to our 3rd‑party aggregators about the need to update their code, and it is taking longer than expected for this to happen</strong>. I can appreciate your frustration, and I want to assure you that our team has followed up with them and completed everything that can be done on our end. We have escalated this up. </p><p></p><p>The timeline I had given you in my last email was an approximation only and based on historical updates.         <description><![CDATA[<p>The program has never had the option to have investment expenses recorded in one account (Account B) that are paid by another account (Account A).</p><p>My workaround has been to transfer cash from Account A to B, then change the transfer IN in account B to misc.  expense.</p><p>This workaround no longer works after the March 2026 update, so i have reverted to the prior version.</p><p>Consider this a caution, and the and ongoing questions:</p><ol><li>Why is there no Management Fee expense in investment expenses?</li><li>Why is the Transfer account option not available for investment expenses&gt;</li></ol>]]>

<p>In the last few weeks the download for Simplii Financial credit card stopped working.  Very frustrating.  Noticed it first after upgrading to a recent Quicken upgrade.  Have since upgraded to the most recent Quicken version but still getting the same error.  I am using Quicken for Windows Classic Business and Personal.  I find it so discouraging when these problems occur.  I just paid for a new annual subscription just before this happened.</p>]]>

The BALANCE before and after may be the result of accrued Profits and Losses as it shows a changed BALANCE based on the Profit /Loss of the particular item.</p><p></p><p>Anybody know anything?         <description><![CDATA[<p>A Heads UP for users on Version R65.25 Build 27.1.65.20 Canada Business &amp; Personal</p><p>I was doing a search for an older invoice with a particular name and when I opened the form for the invoice, it showed an incorrect address.  Upon further investigation, ALL of my invoices are now showing the same incorrect address.  I tried a new invoice entry with a ship to address of xyz and sure enough, after saving and closing and returning to the form, shows the same incorrect address.</p><p>I tried looking up the error in the community using my subject title above with no luck.  I tried validating my file but did not see any joy after retrying.  A subsequent 2 hour call to support yielded plenty of attempts at fixing but again no help.         <description><![CDATA[<p>Can Quicken give all the users connected to Vancity Savings and Credit Union an update of when the connectivity will be established to resume downloading of data into the Quicken program.</p><p>It is now March 1, 2026.  Vancity made the switch on January 21, 2026 to a new digital platform and since then, Quicken no longer works on either Windows or Mac based systems.  </p><p>All of us would appreciate a time line of when a fix will be available.   We have all paid subscriptions to use Quicken.  Hopefully we can get an honest answer.  </p><p>Thank you. </p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Using Quicken Classic Deluxe (Canadian) on Windows 11. This has been going on for as long as I can remember.</p><p>I download the .qfx from Interactive Brokers for my USD denominated account. I accept the transactions and after verifying the details, I change the transaction from cleared to reconciled and then "enter".  When I come back to this transaction, what was the correct exchange rate has been changed to 1.0000. As a workaround, I believe that if I remember to click inside the exchange rate field before marking it reconciled the correct exchange rate is saved.</p><p>As a side note, I often get a pop-up verifying if I want to change a reconciled transaction.  I usually find that the functionality is strange.  I usually have to click "no" to get my changes entered.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Running Quicken Classic Business &amp; Personal v.R65.20 on Windows 11, Quicken software is up to date. </p><p>I do not use One Step update as it has never worked properly with Scotiabank. I download the QFX file from the banking website and load it into Quicken, this has worked just fine for years until Monday. Now I get a message stating "Quicken is currently unable to verify the financial institution information of this download". I have deactivated my Scotiabank accounts and when I try to reactivate them I get the following message "We couldn't get information about Scotiabank. This account will be setup as a manual account".</p><p>Is there a resolution to this?         <description><![CDATA[<p>Anyone have issues with downloading credit card transactions?</p><p>I couldn't figure out at the start what was happening, it showed the account was WAY out of balance. After checking the downloaded files, it looks like maybe they screwed something up in programming and the &lt;LEDGERBAL&gt;&lt;BALAMT&gt; is being exported as positive rather than negative? i.e. It is showing as if they owe me the balance rather than the other way around.</p><p>I restored from backup and tried again, but same thing. That's when I looked at the QFX file.</p>]]>

If you use the "Revert to Downloaded Payee name" feature to undo the application of a renaming rule, it does revert the name to the downloaded name in the downloaded (unaccepted) transaction pane, but it does NOT revert the same information in the register view where you can accept the transaction. So, once you accept the transaction, you get the payee that resulted from the renaming rule that you reverted -  exactly what you told Quicken was wrong and you didn't want. This is very inconvenient.</p><p>But, it gets worse, once you accept the transaction, after reverting, it then automatically pops open the Create Custom Renaming Rule to Rename the Payee to the WRONG payee - to the very name you just rejected using Revert. This workflow is a serious mess.         <description><![CDATA[<p>Quicken Deluxe R65.20 Build 27.1.65.20</p><p>I recently got a new credit card that has 2% cash back on all purchases. I was trying to find a way that I could easily track the build up of the cash back within Quicken. My first thought was to have a separate account and have 2% of all purchases and refunds go into that account. However, I cannot find any way to make that work. Alternatively, I can generate a monthly report and calculate the cash back but this is not automatic.</p><p>The Bank shows a running total, and I really have no reason not to trust it, but I would prefer to keep track of it myself.</p><p>Do any of you track your CC cash back in Quicken?         <description><![CDATA[<p>Just got notification that my annual subscription is increasing to $101.88 and this is a huge increase percentage wise - 21.45%. While I understand and expect price increases, this seems excessive. I am retired now and watching all my pennies!</p><p>I have been a Quicken user since 1993 but I am questioning if I am getting enough value from it to continue. I feel there have been no real meaningful improvements or innovations in the Canadian product for quite some time. It doesn't work with my Bank, my Brokerage, the investment section doesn't work with Crypto, the NEO exchange, and doesn't provide any meaningful charting or reports.</p><p>I already use a different product for my investments, so Quicken has really just become a expense tracking tool for me, albeit all manual. And I also do not use the Mobile version of Quicken as I find it does not offer much functionality.</p><p>I still have my Quicken 2007 CD, is there anyway to migrate my historical data back into Quicken 2007? Would I need to go back to the 2007 version or are there newer non subscription versions that would allow me to view my data? I don't care about entering new data if I choose to stop subscribing to Quicken.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I cannot imagine I'm the first person to want to do this, but have followed literally every google and AI searched solution to absolutely no avail!  this is ridiculously frustrating!</p><p>All I want to do is to grab a copy of my full invoice items list and associated descriptions, download them so I can go through them outside of quicken and refine, organize and rename them with more consistent naming rules.  My items get added on the fly, but have done this many times throughout the years and now have some duplicates because I couldn't fine the item due to not having any consistency in my naming rules, and I wanted to simply FIX things.  however I cannot find ANY way to achieve this.  Of course I can "View items list" and screenshot this visible list but first off the window is so small it doesn't show much of the description associated with the item…and also only shows 10 line items until I scroll and there is no way to make the window any bigger or adjust column widths etc.  I've been tole I can retrieve the info through a "Report" but nothing seems to work and based on the method, even if it DID work, seems to me would list a gazillion repeated items as it seems to be listing items from all my invoices which obviously I use the same "item" on every invoice I sell that item to a client!  it seems like such a SIMPLE task…yet is proving to be one which instead I've wasted literally HOURS and done nothing more than trigger my anger to a point I'm ready to CHUCK my PC out the window (Me and my therapist are working on those anger issues lol)  anyone have any help to provide? (About retrieving the list…not the anger issues lol)</p>]]>
