New to this community (I lived in a "community" in the late sixties, and it was Great!) However, I just received an alert about an account being VERY overdrawn…I panicked and checked with the bank, and, thankfully, the "alert" was grossly mistaken. Also, I found a transaction in 2025 which should have been in 2024. What have I done wrong??

We have several accounts on quicken and we have never synched with Chase Bank, until yesterday. I added a new Chase account to quicken and went through the process of initiating synching and uploading the banking information into quicken. I ended up with several duplicate bank accounts showing different balances! Some balances are accurate, others are way off. HELP!

I think it is a great idea that some users have placed which type of Quicken app they are using. I would like to place "Quicken Deluxe for Mac" after my user name. The profile setting say i do not have permission to edit my name. How do i add this to my user?

Where is download for Q Classic Premier

Moving from Win10 desktop to Win11 laptop. Early on, installed Q on laptop but did not move data.

Now I am ready to switch over, so prepped for moving data. I updated new Q, but noticed the Investments tab was missing, so it was not Prremier version. Did an uninstall to do it over.

Went to Q and in My Account the subscriptions show Q Classic Premier, but in the downloads section only shows Q Classic,

I thought maybe I had to install it and then upgrade it, so I downloaded again, but the install had an error with the progress thermometer about half way — it said to try again. Same thing again.

Is Premier activated when I log in and my account is chrecked? If so, why didn't it happen at first?

Any ideas why the install is erroring out at the halfway mark?

Phone lines are closed for the weekend. Any ideas?

unable to view community alerts: why?

I'm trying to view a community alert and it tells me there's a permission problem. I try to Ask a Question and in the list of areas in which I can ask a question, I cannot select product alerts. I've been a user of quicken for about 40 years, and subscribing since they made me subscribe. Is there more money I'm supposed to be paying in order to see product alerts?

Where do i get my product activation code?

Hi folks, I'm a relatively inexperienced Quicken Simplifi user and would appreciate some assistance. I've created a rule to classify certain transactions as "Savings" and the rule appears to be working. However, when I run a report (a simple pie chart) there is no sign of this category, not even hidden within other categories. What am I overlooking?

Lifetime Planner discrepancy with investment accounts

I was looking at the printed assumptions from my Lifetime Planner in Quicken Classic. I was surprised to see investment accounts that I have not included in the Lifetime Planner. It is picking them up from the account list.

There are only three accounts that I have selected to be part of my Lifetime Planner. You can see the three below that should be included when I click on edit “Investments”.

However, when I print the Lifetime Planner assumptions or just look at them without clicking “edit”, it includes three additional accounts: DSB 403b, John Hancock Non-Qualified Plan, and ML Total Historical Growth. All of these accounts are in the “Separate” section of the Account Lists and also aren’t chosen to be included above.

I want to make sure that none of these account values are being used to calculate retirement income.

There is clearly some kind of a glitch in the program.

I've wanted to message someone because we were communicating about something in a discussion, which was then closed before I had a chance to follow up with them.

Hunted around profiles and found nothing that would let me send a PM.

Found a note somewhere that there is a message icon next to the avatar in profile - but nope, it's not there.

I've searched and searched and searched and FINALLY found a discussion where these were referred to as "private messages" (not direct messages), and then finally found a note where it said they weren't available till you had 101 points. I have no idea how many points I have, nor do I really want to know or worry about such "achievements."

Is there some explanation about PMs in the faqs that I missed? If not, can you respond here and maybe also put up a nice answer somewhere where it would be readily found?

Likely related, I'd like my email address changed to what is my current community name is but I get an 'already in use error' when I try to do so. It might be caused by user 'jimlovell' that I created some time ago. If that's the problem please delete that user (no posts so nothing is lost).

subscription to Quicken Mac Starter, cannot load 2007 data from iCloud, resource fork missing

I had a 2015 MacBook Pro with Mojave and was using Quicken 2007. Been using Quicken for YEARS!!! My MacBook Pro went kaput. Hard Drive is at a Data Recovery place and it's not going well. I got a replacement 2015 MacBook Pro with Mojave. I loaded my Quicken 2007 CD into my replacement MacBook 2015 with Mojave. There is a copy of the 2007 Quicken data file in my icloud. I try to open it and it says cannot load file. Today on my MacBook Air with Ventura (which I got for doing my taxes) I purchased Quicken Starter (a supervisor walked me through). We tried to upload my 2007 data from the icloud and it says Could Not Import "Data File" The resource fork is missing. Understand that the 2007 data file is 8.2 MB. My whole financial history is in that file. The data file is in my iCloud AND on my hard disk that is at the recovery place.

Why Does Community access ask for password

When I click on the Quicken Community link in the Quick help menu, I am asked for a password. I entered the password each time and then discovered if I close the password request window without entering a password, the community screen appears. It's not that big a deal I suppose, just closing the password request window but this process just started a week ago. Is there some way to stop that window from appearing?
