Is there a file format that I can import at would support split transactions?

Or would I be better off create a separate transaction for each vendor/sub using the General Contract as the Payee and still using the Tags to ID the vendor/sub?

Any suggestions?

Quicken doesn't even seem to recognize the billing information as valid. I select either "Citi" or "Citibank" as the biller name, and enter the payment zip code from the biling statement – either with or without the four digit zip code suffix – and it is rejected every time. This has been happening for months.

I can successfully make credit card payments to other banks, it's only Citibank which isn't accepted. Is there some reason for this?

I would like the payment amount that shows up for scheduled bills to update to the current balance, but I have to manually change AWAY from current balance then back again to update the amount. Since this is not much better than entering the amount manually, the feature is kind of useless.

           If you have an installment purchase with the Apple Card, a single payment from a financial institution to the Apple Card can be posted to the Credit Card Balance and/or the Installment Balance.  There is also and Apple Card Balance which equals the Credit Card Balance + Installment Balance. These balances are displayed within the Apple Wallet app.

 If there is an outstanding Credit Card Balance, any payment is automatically credited to the Credit Card Balance.  If there is a zero Credit Card Balance then a payment may be credited directly to the Installment Balance.  However, that payment is posted as a credited transaction to both the Credit Card Balance and the Installment Balance.

The result of this apps behavior is that 2 credits (1 to the Credit Card Balance and 1 to the Installment Balance) are created from a single payment! 

I am manually entering all transactions (I don’t download them).

I have created two accounts in Quicken, one for the Apple Card transactions and one for the Installment transactions.  To maintain 3 accurate balances (Apple Card Balance, Credit Card Balance and Installment Balance), I have to manually enter a Balance Adjustment transaction in the Apple Card account to offset installment payments to the Installment account.

Has anyone tackled this problem and found a simpler solution to accurately maintaining 3 balances?

For the longest time Wells Fargo Visa would not work as my Checking is Direct Connect (and MUST stay that way for Wells bill pay) and the Visa required Quicken Connect.

A few months ago I chatted several with a great support person who pointed me to Wells Fargo Credit rather than the Wells Fargo bank to activate downloads for the Visa and it worked like a charm! My memory being what it is, it might have been Wells Fargo Card Services, but I think credit.

A week ago or so, Quicken reported I need to reconnect to Wells Visa and I did. Its odd, that to do that I had to also check my checking (which is direct connect) and the check box could NOT be cleared. Pre-checked for me. I reconnected and linked to existing for the Visa.

Then EVERY new CHECKING transaction ALSO showed in my VISA register!!! I had to keep deleting them. Really. A Paid check, new deposit - all duplicated in the Visa register.

So I disconnected the VIsa, went to reconnect and again, cannot uncheck the Checking when trying to reconnect the Visa under Wells Fargo Credit. And I also cannot link to existing any longer.

Checking seems to be working just fine and is Direct Connect. My hunch: Wells did something odd and for Credit Cards have them incorrectly linked with Checking and this all happened with their required "reconnect accounts".

Anyone having this work right now? Especially if Checking Direct and Credit Card Quicken Connect? And if so for credit card, what is that connected to for online services?

If so, what are you using for the Payee?

Prior to this, I used Elan Financial Services, or more accurately Transfer:[Elan Financial Services (Fidelity Visa XXXXXX)] or something close. hard to see it now, but you get the idea.

Now using Transfer:[Fidelity Visa XXXXXX]

As you can see, I am overdue get a new bill and it oddly shows a Minimum due, yet no Amount Due. Or date due. It should have appeared 4-5 days ago.

Have I selected a wrong payee? If you ARE functioning, please share what your payee is set to! Could this possibly be why no new bill is arriving?

BTW, both Fidelity Visa and Elan Visa have the same address and same account number in my Payees list.

This has become very confusing with the New Biller and Fidelity/Elan biller for the Visa Card.

PS. Too long to scroll the payee list to a Transfer: [Elan….] but I am sure it is there.

I'm using Premier 8.4.2 on a Mac OS 26.2. All of my bills are manual bills, so on the Bills & Income tab I usually filter for Manual Bills. Today I removed all filters and discovered that one of my bills has a Green $ icon in the type column. Hovering over the icon shows "Bill Pay". If I then filter for for Bill Pay Bills, it shows up there on its own.

I've looked through the discussions on this and find several posts claiming this was a bug that was fixed back on version 5.XX.

Is there a way to remove this incorrect type so all of my bills will show up as manual bills? I tried editing all instances by making a few changes and saving, but this didn't save the problem. I've been using Quicken for a few years now, but I am new to Quicken on the Mac.

Above this Wells Fargo bill has not yet been grabbed. When it is 3 will change to Feb 28th. But I never see anything in that first column 1 (what IS that called) where I might expect to see an indicator and 2-activity - seems to only have an indication when a bill has been paid. Not when arrived,

Am I missing an easy way to tell when a new bill has been updated here?

Here is what I've done so far:

• I created a biller named named Xcel Energy.
• I clicked on "Link eBill", located Xcel Energy, and entered the account information on the form, making sure it matched the information on my most recent statement.
• I clicked "continue" and entered payment and schedule information.
• I submitted the request

I've done this twice. Each time, it will say "Enrollment pending" next to the biller until enrollment fails.

Then I'll click on the 3 dots and select "fix biller" and repeat entering account and schedule information.

What I've noticed:

• It never asked me to log into my account.

How can it enroll me for eBills without authenticating me? That missing piece might be why enrollment is failing.

I'm on macOS 26.2 and Quicken Classic 8.4.1. I have 7 other eBill enrollments that are working, only Xcel Energy is failing to enroll.

We do not get updates on Billers being added. No information at all which I find a slight to customers who have lost functionality. Lots of talk and disappointment previously on that.

Today I shopped Auto Insurance as renewal is up. Turns out a better deal elsewhere so changed companies. Was absolutely amazed GEICO is not a supported biller! The list for me and some others is more bills not supported than are. Several that are supported do not work. Several that were with the old biller are no longer. Several extremely popular billers like GEICO, Netflix, Hulu, Adobe - ghosts.

I think attention to this needs to be kicked up more than a notch. Still dumbfounded no Geico.

There does not seem to be a single topic where users can request billers to be added. I and others suggested that several times. Feel free to add to this as far as I am concerned. Perhaps we are not being vocal enough?
