Hi

I have been using Quicken Classic for MAC for years (version is Premier). I have a problem with Net Worth Reports.

T.Rowe Price recently converted me from managing mutual funds to a brokerage where securities are inside an advisory service ATR account. I used to download each individual mutual and create monthly net worth report that i would later import into Excel.

With the new ATRs, the securities are buried inside the ATR. The net worth doesn't export the security value, just the summary ATR. I thought there might be a new feature to correct this but I don't know what it is.

In summary, I want to export net worth over month showing the security. Any ideas? Clear as mud?

Thanks

Chris

On the Income and Spending charts, the total is no longer displayed in dollars cents, but is displayed as a rounded up or down number - $10,466 is 10K or $8,345 is 8.4K. This feels imprecise to me. The report doesn’t include the fourth estimate made in the following calendar tax year. This could cause an incorrect tax filing if the three estimated are the only estimates reported. An option should be available to have the specific tax estimate category supersede the report date setting. It could be as simple as having a tab on the category settings providing that option.

I recently switched from Quicken Deluxe to Quicken Business & Personal for Mac. I set all my existing categories as business income and expenses, and set all my accounts as primarily for business use in their respective settings. Other reports seem to work alright, but for some reason, the Business Balance Sheet report shows wildly incorrect account balances in all assets and liabilities when set to either "Business" or "Personal". When I set the report to "Business and Personal" the balance sheet still shows the same wrong amounts in separate columns for each, but the difference between each column is the correct amount for each asset and liability. It appears the "Business" items are overstated and the the "Personal" items understated by amounts that if combined would be the correct amounts for each item. Any idea why this is happening, and how to fix?

I think this is part of the same problem as Ticket #12299543/CTP-16655). All my Fidelity accounts showed the money market account as CASH. Buying and selling used to work smoothly with cash. Reinvest Dividend from FZDXX worked smoothly and the cash amount increased accordingly. Now the cash is showing the correct amount, but reconciling the account shows that the cash is missing??

Is this problem being worked on? Or is there a specific fix one needs to do with one's own account?

[Edited Readability]

I updated all of my saved reports to show the columns I want, in the order and size that I want them. I saved them, and I went back into them shortly after saving to confirm they are how I wanted them. Now today, I've gone in and found that some of them have reverted back to default columns and placement. How can I make sure the report stays saved the way I want it.

I created a report for all transactions in 2025 sorted by category. However, the report excludes stocks that were donated to charity. While the register records the transaction as "remove shares" it does not appear on the category report, and I am unable to designate that it went to charity so that it would appear in the correct category on the itemized by category report. Since donating stocks to charity have substantial tax benefits, this needs to be corrected so it is reflected in our tax returns.

Yes I can collapse Expenses for instance but then I do not see any categories. I hate wading thru every category and sub category just to get to the M's or P's, etc.

Come on, Quicken, you can do better. In December, I printed Category reports for my tax appointment, landscape. My report was 33 pages, font was too big at that time. Now with the latest version, the font on my Category reports are twice the size with 66 pages for my report. Ridiculous. Why can't the reports print just what is displayed on the screen. That would be a perfect report. My accountant already thinks the report style & font on the Mac is cumbersome. Why can't you create the Quicken Mac like Quicken Windows. We deserve better. The price point is the same.

Hi, so my town has a complicated sales tax structure, with a summer and a winter rate, and a few different exemptions- the ones I use most are for non-local sales and senior citizens. When I file my city taxes, I need to report total sales for each tax period, and exempt sales for each category, and then compute my tax due on the difference. I assigned each exemption category a sales tax of 0% with the city as the agency, the only problem being that because it's 0% it somehow gets shunted into "No Agency" instead of being listed under the city. I could mark them as non-taxable sales, and then they'd show in that column, but I'd have to go back and manually determine which exemption they belonged in. All I really want is a report just like the existing sales tax report but showing the categories with 0% rates. I can't see how to make a scratch report to do that, or how to edit this report, either.

Ideas?

Thanks!

Report for 2025 was correct for all investments. Report printed 2/10/26 was correct. When reprinted on 2/25/26 one investment was incorrect . An item categorized as Unrealized Gain/Loss was added as of 12/31/25. The loss affected the end of year value as if it had been realized. two problems…the amount of loss is unsubstantiated and the inclusion of the category affects all prior Net Worth reports if reprinted.

The problem must have come from an update.

I was on line with Support for almost 2.5 hours with no resolution. Ticket #12256408. I was told the category would always be there and I would have an invalid report.

Apparently I am the first to question this but surely can't be the only one affected.

any ideas?
