        <description><![CDATA[<p>Creating transactions from the mobile app or the web app is great when on the go.  I only use the desktop app a few times a week max.  Problem is, if you add a payee to the transaction, it will memorize it and mess all future transactions up with stupid balances.  No way to stop this… still.<br /><br />
What I do is enter the transaction amount and category… Do not add the payee, let it come when the transaction posts.  That ususally helps, but is a stupid solution.  Seem like now, that does not work as I had to fix a lot of transactions.<br /><br />
Solution… avoid using the mobile or web app so that you want have to fix things later… or QUICKEN FIX THIS MESS?!  The letter from the CEO did not mention this fix.  I really like quicken, but this mess is rediculous.  Previous post have been closed but the issue is still here. <br /><br />
I use quicken on android with the app, mac app and widows app as the features are different… Thats a mess for another day.  <br /><br />
Just fix this auto memorization.  I do not find it beneficial for me… but in its current state, it is beyound broken.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I have had this issue before and it's reappearing:</p><p>I'm having problems with Quicken and syncing.  I've changed some scheduled transactions and when I sync, the old schedule comes back after I sync.  It appears that the scheduled transactions are coming back from the cloud sync, instead of updating the cloud with the new scheduled transactions.  </p><p>Hopefully I'm making sense with this.  </p><p> I've changed the splits in both Quicken AND online and saved them.  I've reset the cloud data, and it is still there!  </p><p>I don't know if I'm not accessing the data correctly — I've gone into my calendar and clicked on the transaction and then into the splits that I wanted to change.  I've also gone into the memorized transaction to make sure that THIS is also saved correctly, but it SEEMS to pull from the calendar data, not the memorized transaction.  This is a weekly scheduled transaction and just is plainly screwed up and keeps coming back after I sync!</p><p>HELP!</p><p>Rick</p><p>[Edited-Readability]</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I have a Windows desktop Quicken Classic (QC) file that is setup to sync to the web.  When I open my iphone QC app and login I can see the QC synced file.  The problem occurs when I add a new transaction to the iphone QC app, the new transaction does not show up on the desktop.  </p><p>When I click sync on the desktop the transaction added from the iphone app never appears.  In fact it will disappear from the iphone.</p><p>Sync appears to only be going one way.  From desktop to phone.  </p><p>Is this a proper operation of the sync function?  </p><p></p><p>Using Quicken Classic R65.29 Build 27.1.65.29</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello Quicken Community,</p><p>Since I couldn't find any posts within the past year discussing this matter so thought I'd ask again.  </p><p>I stopped using the mobile Quicken a few years back because it would change the budget numbers I had plugged into monthly budget on my desktop.</p><p>Since it's been a while since I turned on mobile sync, I thought I would check to see if this issue has been resolved.  </p><p>I would only use the mobile app when I was traveling and it was nice to stay on top of finances while away, but was not worth it when I would have to painstakingly go through and revise the monthly budgeted numbers to my original amounts.</p><p>Anyone know if Quicken may have resolved this problem?         <description><![CDATA[<p>This is a bit hard to explain, but here goes…  I have been syncing Quicken classic with the cloud successfully to a cloud account called QDATA2025.  I have shared that account with my wife who accessed it using the mobile app (only).</p><p>That was working until I messed something up trying to create a new data file for the new year. I created a new file, had some difficulty with my account connections, got them working, and ultimately renamed the cloud account to QDATA2026.  In the process I unintentionally removed my wife from access to the cloud account.  I sent her a new access invitation which she accepted - but when she logs in to the mobile app it fails to load QDATA2026, saying "You do not have any synced accounts".  If she selects a data file to load, QDATA2026 is there but it will not load, and the same error is produced.</p><p>I am able to access QDATA2026 from my mobile app with no problem.  I am at a loss as to how to restore her access to the data.         <description><![CDATA[<p>I found the ability to view unmatched transactions in the Quicken Mobile App to be my primary use case for Quicken Mobile. The feature has been available for as long as I've used the Mobile App - which is something like 2+ years. As of 1-2 months ago, the feature availability became intermittent, and now, it has disappeared completely. I chatted with Fin this morning and was told that transaction matching is available only on the desktop.  </p><p> Is there any possibility that its disappearance is a bug? If not, what was the rationale for deprecating this feature? And is there any chance of recovering it? For me, the ability to view  transaction downloads and manually match them to scheduled transactions has been quite valuable and makes the pairing of the mobile and desktop services nearly seamless. Perhaps I'm an outlier, but I wanted to put it out there for discussion.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>I'm quite new to Quicken, business and personal mobile, windows 11. I would like to download bank transactions and credit card transactions going forward only. I tried to download and it downloaded a whole bunch of transactions I don't really want, so I deleted the accounts and entered them manually. Is there a way to download only going forward, and if not, is there an easy way to just remove everything prior to a certain date? The download went back quite far and there were a lot of transactions, it would take a long time to remove them one by one. If I downloaded transactions to CSV and imported what I want, would those just get written over when I download direct from the bank? I have no interest in downloading from investment accounts, I can just update totals quarterly. </p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p> I use Quicken for Mac on a MacBook Pro with the latest macOS software. I also have an iPad Pro which actually uses a newer more powerful processor than my Mac. When I'm on the road for three or four weeks my iPad Pro travels with me and my Mac stays home. I have no way to manually synchronize the laptop with the iPad and therefore trying to use Quicken mobile is useless since it doesn't stay up-to-date, particularly with my brokerage accounts. </p><p>With Apple becoming very vague as to whether it considers its computer a laptop or an iPad, I was wondering if it's time to see if Quicken can create "Quicken for ipadOS" as an alternative to Quicken for Mac. I do see many more colleagues opting to travel with an iPad rather than a laptop these days. In fact I find that my iPad does <em><strong>everything</strong></em> my Mac does <em><strong>except</strong></em> run Quicken.</p><p> I guess what I would like to see is a Quicken for iOS which can run on a top line iPad as a native standalone program comparable to Quicken for Mac, or an option to allow my laptop to automatically synchronize with Quicken mobile every 30 or 60 minutes so Quicken mobile stays up-to-date when I'm away from my laptop. There's obviously no way I can manually synchronize my laptop with my iPad if I'm not at home for a few weeks.</p><p> Are there many others that are in this situation? Would this actually be a viable product? It would sure be useful for me.</p>]]>

        <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello,</p><p>I am having an issue with the mobile app multiplying actual spending data in the budget section of the app. I am using Quicken Classic for Mac version 8.3.2. </p><p>When I set up the budget on the desktop, the data all appears correct, but when it syncs to the mobile app (as well as the web app), the actual spending data is multiplied by 4; for example, if the groceries budget category has a transaction in October where $25 was spent, the mobile app budget displays that $100 of the budget amount was spent.</p><p>I had a chat conversation with the support area and they had no information on this issue.
