How can I make a tag report and include summary of untagged items.

In Quicken for Mac 2007, I used "classes" (now called "tags"in Essentials), to designate different accounts for my children and other sections. It worked out well that way to keep these accounts defined but separate from my main one. I would just make up a class report which summarized the net amount in each class and the rest or no class was my main account. To just look at my own main account I only needed to make a custom report and exclude all the classes. Is there a way to do this in Essentials for Mac 2010?

Sadly, no there is not. I am beginning to use Tags more, and I wish they got the same respect as categories.

One workaround would be to search for the tag name in the search box. This will give you a total (upper right). The only problem is that if that tag is in a split, the entire split amount will be included in the total (even if only one child line uses that tag)
