Are Add/Remove the correct transaction types used when rebalancing a 401k account?

I rebalance my 401k portfolio manually using the Add/Remove transactions. Is this the correct method to do this or should I be using Buy/Sell transactions, even though there is no charges or change in the cash balance with these transactions.

    You can use whatever works best for you.

    Personally, I prefer to use Buy and Sell transactions as that more accurately reflects what is actually taking place.
    Quicken user since Q1999. Currently using QW2017.
