Sold all shares of stock yet still have cost basis

I have sold all my shares of a stock. Yet when I print out a report of portfolio value and cost basis the stock is still listed with a basis of $0.03 with no value (since there are no shares held any longer).

How do I clear out this incorrect basis?

Add a return of capital transaction in the register in the amount of 0.03 or -0.03 (whichever zeroes the basis) for the problem security dated on same date as the last sell transaction. That should clear the cost basis.

Or search for 3 cents worth accounting error somewhere in your transaction history.
