The existing feature is a display only....it does not apply the payment automatically. There are many cases where the payment is pre-authorized and a user does not need to accept it as paid.JM said:smayer97
QMac already has this capability - from the get-go.
Display of scheduled transactions is account specific and is set in the Settings > Scheduled Transactions: dialog for each account.
Just to add to this conversation some context, personally, I have over 150 scheduled transactions. Many of these are pre-authorized or repeating amounts. Although it is only a few clicks to mark as paid for EACH transaction, do this enough times and it starts to add to the workload.JM said:smayer97

Did you mean 2007 or 2017?Judit Juhasz said:I would definitely like to have an auto enter option in scheduled transactions. I would be major time saver for me since I have several transactions each month what could be just automatically entered, and done with it.
Also, a control option on the "auto fill" transactions. I loved the feature in the old Quicken (2003), where I could control the auto fill list. If I turned it on, it automatically added the transaction to this list, and when I turned it off, it will no longer add to the list or change it. This feature was helpful, because when I make a purchase at a specific store, multiple categories like, groceries, cosmetics, clothing), the next time I enter the purchase for the same store, with the auto fill, all these categories would not show up again . Now in iBank, the auto fill will bring up the last used category(s) I used. It is very annoying, because I have to clear all that out and enter the new/current category for that purchase. I don't know how to explain it better.
Thank you.Judit Juhasz
P.S. I downloaded the new Quicken 2007 for Mac last night, not even sure how the "auto fill" works. It may not even have auto fill. ????
Agreed. Mac users should have the joy of runaway reminders just like the Win folks do.Judit Juhasz said:I would definitely like to have an auto enter option in scheduled transactions. It's not the Work, it's remembering to do it. The beauty of Automation is once it is set up, you don't have to think about it again.JM said:smayer97

I'm a long time Quicken Win user (since 1997) and have just started using QM17. What a disappointment. Having to manually mark scheduled transactions as paid is a pain. Not everyone is able to download from the bank - I live in UK so it has to be manual. My 2001 Q Win has more functionality than Q Mac which is embarrassing.Hi @ Developers and Programmers ,
Many Quicken Users are running away from Windows to Mac Computers, but not running away from Quicken, itself. Simply program Quicken for MAC Programs to behave in the same fashion that Quicken for Windows behaves, with the same options that Windows has.
Like Bill Pay through the Online Center.
Two-line Checking Account Display.
Mac Computers should not be a 2nd Class Computer, therefore, Quicken For Mac, should have all the options that Quicken for Windows has.
But make sure that there are options to turn on or turn off. Users don't like the same Behavior for all.
Nor does everyone want to download from FIs/Banks either, even within the US.Hi @ Developers and Programmers ,
