MerQQQ Security Listed with Two Descriptions in Security List

In January of this year I think security QQQ had a name change or something.  Transaction posted since then are using the new name.  All previous transactions use the old name.

The one on the top is the new name.

Account balance reports list them as separate securities:

If I try to edit a transaction the only security I see is the new one:

"Match with online security" is shaded out for the old security

Removing and/or adding the symbol does not help.

How do I merge these two?

    Check in your security list to see if the old security is hidden.  This would cause it not to appear in the list for the transaction entry.

    If you change all transactions to equal one of the two (doesn't matter which one) then you can delete the security with the name you are not using (from the security list screen) .
