Add Option to Get Confirmation When Changing Any Transaction in Quicken Mac (49 Legacy Votes)

Currently it is too easy to make changes in Quicken for Mac. Although not a bad thing in general, it is too easy to alter transactions without realizing it until it is too late.
Please add an option to turn on getting a confirmation dialogue that the change is desired. This should also handle DELETE. It should equally handle changes to a single transaction as well as mass changes.
This could be split into 2 preference options. One to handle Reconciled transactions only, and one to handle the rest.
(If you find this feature helpful, please be sure to click "VOTE" above to increase the count of this post and therefore its visibility to other users and to the developers.)
If you do not click VOTE at the top of the page, your vote will NOT be counted!

Quicken verifies the deletion of a downloaded transaction but not of a transaction entered manually. It is much too easy to inadvertently delete a transaction! In case this is not a concern for all users, provide a setting to verify or not verify deletion of any transaction.
It is inconsistent to validate the deletion of only one kind of transaction.
(Inadvertently deleting one month's mortgage payment transaction, for example, would not be a small thing to have missing from the register.)
We are using Quicken 2016 version 3.5.5. If this issue is addressed in Quicken 2017, I would appreciate knowing that!
Add Option to Confirm Delete when deleting a transaction.

When a NEW transaction is created and data entered into it, but not actually entered (via ENTER key) before switching to a different account there is no warning that the typed data will be lost. I often find empty transactions in different bank accounts and could swear that I had already entered items that are missing-- so this is the likely cause. There should be a confirm dialog box that pops up about the potential of lost data that has yet to be properly entered before switching accounts or shutting down Quicken.
