QMac has options for displaying multiple accounts and holdings by account.
Click on the Investing group header in the sidebar - this gives you a Portfolio View of all Brokerage and Retirement accounts - including holdings.
Similarly - one gets a narrower view by selecting either Brokerage or Retirement from the sidebar.QWin & QMac (Deluxe) Subscription

One improvement to the Portfolio view of the Investing, Brokerage, and Retirement groups would be to treat Cash Balances as an asset or security with a unit value of $1.00. This would allow the Cash Balance to be displayed with each account instead of at the end of the report.
This would allow the Cash Balances to be aggregated when the report is grouped by security.0 -
It would be nice to be able to select more than one but not all accounts in the Brokerage and Retirement groups to combine in the portfolio view. For example my wife's brokerage and retirement accounts but not mine or all my retirement accounts but not my wife's. Could use standard Mac discontinuous selection: command-click.JM said:QMac has options for displaying multiple accounts and holdings by account.

Yes but, there's no column called "Account." That column would show which accounts hold a specific security. THAT is what is missing.JM said:QMac has options for displaying multiple accounts and holdings by account.

Click on "Portfolio Value" to see the pull-down list, "Group by" with four options: type, asset class, security, account.0

This shouldn't just be archived; I believe it should be marked as implemented!
In Quicken Mac, the Portfolio screen can be set to show Portfolio value, and can be Grouped By Account. the original request was for "Holdings by Account, and the individual securities within that account," like the Quicken 2007 Portfolio view. To me, the Quicken Mac Portfolio view can be set to be identical to the Quicken 2007 Portfolio view when grouped by Account, so unless I'm misunderstanding something, this functionality exists.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19931
