How report / graph number of stock shares over time?

I want to resolve discrepancies between reports from a brokerage house and my Quicken data about # of shares owned in a stock at particular time.
It would be most helpful to have a graph # shares held in a particular stock over time. Can I do this? All i can do now is guess specific dates to see my position (and # shares on that date). A graph would be waayyy more helpful to see what is going on.

I don't think there's a graph available that can do that, not in Quicken for Windows nor Mac.
Just create a Investment Transactions report, sorted by Date and filtered for the account in question and the security you're looking for. That should tell you what's going on.
If you're good with Excel, export that report to Excel and massage the data into the desired graph.
Just in case ... might there be any Placeholder transactions lurking in your account?
Those need to be resolved first. For more about
Placeholders please go into Quicken Help (press the F1 key from anywhere in
