How do I schedule regular salary transfers to a retirement account with TIAA-CREF?

I can't do a transfer because by the time the money gets to TIAA-CREF, they break up the inputs to small inputs into specific funds. So the amounts on my split salary won't match anything at CREF. I can just enter them as pre-tax expenses, unlinked to TIAA-CREF, but that doesn't seem right.

In Quicken, do you have one TIAA CREF account or many?Quicken user since Q1999. Currently using QW2017.

It's one 403(b), but multiple funds. TIAA-CREF doesn't register the total input from my salary, only the broken-down payments to 10 individual funds.0

So, show the single transfer of funds from your paycheck to TIAA, and then multiple purchases that use that cash.Q user since DOS version 5

What keeps you from doing the paycheck transfer to the 403(b) account and then the downloaded fund level transactions from TIAA-CREF use that cash balance?-splasher using Q since 1996 - Subscription - Win10
