@Morgan In your case, I would get the US version (investment accounts have trickier downloads) and import .QIF files for the bank accounts.Morgan Freele said:I have just realised after a long chat with Quicken online that if as I have a US brokerage Account and also a Canadian bank that if I want to download tranactions instead of manually entering them, I will have to buy and run two separate versions as they are mutually exclusive
Really hard to imagine in this very international age that no one has a trully international product?
I can't even download it from their website from outside the US cuz there are no international address options!!Shiuan Liu said:Yes yes yes! I started using Quicken in the US and developed a good habit of tracking my finances with it. However when I relocated to work outside the US, it became a hassle to use and required lots of workarounds. I really hope that Quicken gets on this and develops an international-capable version soon!
Yes. You can still buy Quicken from outside US, provided you have US address.Alan said:Ok. I need to use it for Switzerland (CHF currency) and Australia . is there an international version? I thought there was just one global version but found it might be a US and CA version only? if this possible? can i buy form outside the Americas? Looks like Amazon will sell it to me but haven't actually tried....
True and so sad! Please do allow users to register with an address outside USA/Canada. I have been forced to use Banktivity just because it does things for international customers, which does not do and have no plans to do it in near future.Shiuan Liu said:Yes yes yes! My Canadian bank provides a .qfx download, but when I try to automatically update my account with this file, it says "downloaded data does not match the currency of your Quicken account"Morgan Freele said:I have just realised after a long chat with Quicken online that if as I have a US brokerage Account and also a Canadian bank that if I want to download tranactions instead of manually entering them, I will have to buy and run two separate versions as they are mutually exclusive

This thread is for the QWin version. For the QMac version, you can add your VOTE to Add True multi-currency conversion support.Jose Rocha said:YES, YES, YES. Quicken must produce an international version, even if don't connect to banks. I've a Mac version (bought with US address) but still using my old MS Money Sunset until it lasts, just because don't have a int version.

Brazil is a huge country, with over 200 million people, is the largest country in South America, and the sixth in the whole world. (by population).
That been said, I really think quicken should try to focus a little bit more on this market, I bet it would bring a lot, and I mean, A LOT, of costumers, because a huge part of this population is financial educated, and this movement about financial education is spreading very fast since the last couple of years.
So, the main idea behind it would be:
1. Integration with the biggest institution in the country. (Banco do Brasil, Caixa Economica Federal, Santander Brasil, Bradesco, Itaú).
2. Brazilian Portuguese language. (Even a lot of the population speaking English, it would open a lot more market if the software was able to be in Portuguese language).
3. Integration with the financial market in Brazil. Having Brazilian stocks, Brazilian index, investment funds, and others.
Please, if you are Brazilian, and are eagerly waiting for this feature, vote!
