Selected transactions balance function

Rental for Windows 2017; Windows 10.
What happened to the "selected transactions balance" function within each account? You were able to select transactions and you would get the number of transactions selected and the related balance at the bottom left of the account detail. Now I only get transactions selected but no related balance. I used this function regularly. Where did it go?

I don't recall that feature. Have you tried using the Search field at the upper right of the account register to select the transactions?

What does "selected transactions balance" even mean?  Is that the sum of the value of those transactions?

Because a Balance should take into account the prior (opening) balance, the sum of the included transactions, and then show the ending/resulting balance.

How did you get to this function?  Be precise.

Highlight the first transaction.  Then use the typical Windows convention to select and highlight the others.

I had no problem replicating the above, as well.

OK I have reproduced the problem.  The problem is that you have your window width set to too small.

    A tad bit larger:

Note the amount starts showing when you have two or more transactions selected.

Thank you. I used this function quite often. I upgraded from RPM 15 to RPM 17 (serious mistake) and lost the balance in formatting the new program screen size. Thanks again.
