    No. They completed a new report engine under the hood, but didn't add the reports users have been asking for. Product manager Marcus has said that their next step will be replacing the original Quicken Mac reports with ones using the new reports engine, and then adding additional reports. with the new reports architecture, creating new reports is supposedly much easier and faster. So for those waiting for an income statement report, no joy yet -- but reason for optimism.

    In Quicken Mac 2017, you can select REPORTS > New Report > Summary Report > Report by category.

    You can select the accounts, categories and inclusions dates.  About the only useful report in Quicken Mac 2017.

    Not being a Win user, I'm not exactly sure what that report contains. But you can certainly take the Transactions or Summary reports and customize them to include only certain account, certain (income) categories and a specific timeframe. Would that do it?

    Also, the Tax Schedule report may be of some user for investment related income and expense.

    Yes, I should have said that you can get an income statement-like report by using the New Report > Summary Report, subtotaled by Category, by month or year, and then customizing the dates to the periods you want. (It still drives me nuts that you have to let it create a report first, and then customize it to specify the dates/categories/accounts you want; why don't they let you specify the parameters before it creates the report?)

    They still need to create a pre-defined report named Income Statement, rather than making users bumble through how to create one. There's also no way to do a report comparing two like date ranges, such as this year-to-date versus the same period last year.

    There is no such thing as as an Income Statement report in QW Premier; perhaps the OP uses Home & Business. In QW Premier, a handful of stock reports will produce an income statement -- after the user customizes them to eliminate outflows, much in the way you would in QM.

    The big difference, of course, is that it's possible to produce reports in QW reports that handle transfer transactions.

    There were Income Statement and Balance Sheet reports in the legacy Quicken Mac 2007, so these are among the reports some users have been waiting for to move to a new version of Quicken.

    @jacobs

    Take a look at Reports > New Reports > Comparison Report - subtotal by category.

    You can compare like date ranges; e.g., 2017 YTD vs 2016 same period.

    Among others...like the Columnar style reports (category vs tags/classes)...
