Quicken 2018 on a Mac. How to create new category / subcategory

Would like to add a new category / subcategory. It looks Quicken 2017 had a tools / category editing option to do this.  I'm sure I'm missing something that's nothing but common sense, but I don't see an obvious path to adding new categories.

    Found it!  Apologies.

On the Quicken menu, go to Window > Categories and create a new category as mentioned in the above option.

At the bottom-left of the list of categories "+" dropdown button. Add category / subcategory with that dropdown.

You don't even have to do that. Simply enter a transaction and enter the new Category there. Even if it is a Parent:Sub, it will be created when you save the transaction.

The Income or Expense setting will be automatically based on whether or not the transaction is a cash inflow or outflow.
