There hasn't been an ETA provided on this. It is being worked on, however very rarely do the developers release a time table for features in production. The "Important" section in this article is as much information as there is out there: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-do-i-edit-my-budget-quicken-mobile-app.

Sorry if this is redundant. I don’t understand the statement, “very rarely do the developers release a time table for features in production”. Are they working to a time table? It’s kind of unacceptable to leave users hanging indefinitely IMO
Agree with others in this thread. I just purchased 2018 only to find the budget is still not on the mobile app. We want our mobile budgets back. It is literally the most critical content in the app.
I too agree this is one of the main reasons for choosing Quicken over QuickBooks is for mobile visibility of my budget to date, it's been several months now, what is the ETA?

Sam... I agree whole-heartedly. [removed - off-topic]
Just curious when the budget view capabilities will be back in the iPhone app. I live and die by seeing my budget real time. Just miss having that big time.
I agree with the comments here. I bought Quicken mainly for the budget feature. If I had known I wouldn't be able to view it on my mobile devices, I wouldn't have bought it. A lack of an ETA is pretty disappointing too.
First, is there a status update on when we may see a GA release of the mobile budget feature? It's the new year (new budgets, resolutions, etc) and so it would be helpful to know if we need to duplicate our data temporarily into another mobile app which has budgeting or not.
Second, when the mobile budgeting feature does arrive, is it possible to show/hide certain irregularly used budgets? While on the go, I often only need to look at certain shopping decisions, not larger budgets.
It would be super duper nifty if Quicken had the ability to view and even adjust budgets via the Mobile App! I think this is a real game changer and would maybe even encourage users to upgrade and not look for other platforms/products to manage their finances!
It appears as though the Mac desktop app pulls the data from the bank accounts into the application, then syncs to Q Cloud.
From there, mobile pulls data from Q Cloud. Is it possible to pull the bank data directly from mobile? Seems like no.
The mobile app seems pretty useless if not. If I have to go to my Mac to pull the data, I’d probably just do my analyzing and categorizing while I’m in it.
What would purpose of the app be otherwise?
I thought it would function more like Mint since it was basically the same app before Intuit sold.Mobile app needs much more functionality for on-the-go categorization and budget analysis.
Make it like Mint without all the ads! That’s why I bought it!

I am using Mint for budgeting until Quicken mobile puts budgeting back. I was happy with budgeting in Quicken that was based on the Mint app. Cant see why you just dont put it back while your trying to improve it.
I just wanted to take a moment to share a small but exciting update in regards to Budgets and the Mobile App. The work to add this feature back to our companion Mobile App platform has been completed and the feature is currently in the very first early stages of Beta testing.
Beta Testing for this feature will be quite extensive to ensure stability, performance and function. Due to the extensive testing on this feature, there is not currently an ETA for when Budgets will be made available in the Mobile App yet but, we are getting closer to returning this feature to our companion Mobile App.
To explain the extended delay in this feature being made available; prior to the separation of Quicken from Intuit, the Mobile App and all features of it were hosted by Intuit Services. As part of our separation any function or feature of Quicken and its add-on services such as the Mobile App had to be transitioned from using the Intuit Service platforms to Quicken's own hosted services which at that point in time, did not exist.
To meet the separation deadline, the backend platform to host the Mobile App and services was built quickly and we soon learned that the amount of data contained within a Budget was simply too much for this new platform to handle and process correctly which caused extreme stability and performance issues.
The decision was made to temporarily disable the Budget feature while the backend systems were built out and expanded to be capable of handling all current functions, including Budgets and any new features or functionality that may be added in the future.
It hasn't been a short process and we sincerely apologize for the delay but are one step closer to returning Budgets to the companion Quicken Mobile App. As testing progresses we will continue to post updates as they are received.

With the new Quicken Mobile App that was announced today, will it restore the budget sync feature? This feature was disabled over a year ago, maybe two years ago, and all Quicken has said is "there is no ETA" on restoring it. Please tell us when it will be out and hopefully with the release of the new mobile app in July 2018!
Considering switching Mac 2017 (desktop and mobile app) to Quicken 2018. The budget feature was dropped from the 2017 mobile devices. Just wondering if this feature is available for 2018 version?

It's been announced that mobile budget will be returning to QM18 next month.

How about giving everybody an update as to when this feature will be ready, this is one of the main reasons for purchasing Quicken over QuickBooks.
Mobile App Budgeting
The mobile budget feature discussion here (https://getsatisfaction.com/quickencommunity/topics/mobile-app-budget-feature) has been closed, so I had no way of asking questions. Thus a new thread.

Using Quicken for Mac, 2018 (I upgraded).
Thanks for any information.

Please provide an update on when you plan on restoring the function that Synch’s the budget to mobile devices.

I am not sure why it took so long to get this detail information, but I applaud your open and honest answer.
