Q Windows: Account Currency in effect not displayed anywhere explicitly (4 Legacy Votes)

Let's say you create a new account and select a foreign currency for this new account, Euro (€), for example.

Once created, there is no field or column that I can find in my Quicken for Windows 2018 anywhere that explicitly states:

Account currency: Euro

Nothing in Edit Account Details, General tab.
No column in Account List view or printed report
Nothing in any other view or report that I could find.

The only way to imply that this account must be a Euro account is by looking at either the account register's

Ending Balance: €123.45

or by looking at this account's balance in the Account Bar:

Euro - Cash       €123.45

and looking at the currency sign, €, in front of the numeric amount.

It would be much better, IMHO, if both the Edit Account Details dialog and the Account List view were changed to display the Account Currency field.

I have a Yen Cash account, and a Euro Cash account, a Rouble Cash Account, and a QUICKEN GET SATISFACTION POINTS CASH ACCOUNT. My solution has been to use the Currency's name in the account's name, as I create the account, as you seem to have done.[removed - off-topic/violation of community guidelines]image

That, sir, is a workaround to overcome what Quicken does not provide.

For troubleshooting purposes it is important to know the exact currency actually assigned to the account register.
After you're done with the account creation process, nowhere does Quicken list the account currency in effect except by means of the currency sign in account balances.

What if I made a mistake selecting the correct currency and now I find my presumed to be Canadian $ account won't work right or retain the assumed exchange rate because it was set to a different currency under the covers, e.g. US$ ... and both currencies happen to use the same currency sign, $ ...
I need to be able to take that look under the covers and see what there really is.

Seems like a sound and rather simple request.  Voted UP.
