Expand the Category Box When Customizing Reports (3 Legacy Votes)

the category box when doing reports needs to be bigger or expandable - I can not see the last part of many of my category names

That is exactly how you submit suggestions...posting on this forum and marking as an IDEA...

Simply make sure your title is appropriate so others may also easily find it and add their vote to it to help the developers priorities the ideas.

I see the moderator has adjusted your original title for that purpose.  ;-)

Just so we all know which "Category box" exactly you are talking about, would you mind showing us an example?

Can you please
capture one or more images of the parts of your Quicken window showing the
issue, sensitive information blacked out as necessary to protect your privacy
but annotated to describe the situation, and attach the image(s) here?

The Windows Snipping Tool (available with Windows 7 and up) can be used to
capture a partial screen image and save it to a file.  Microsoft Paint can be used to annotate the
image.

Please create image files of type PNG, JPG or GIF only.

To attach the image here, start composing your reply. At the bottom of the text
entry window you'll see a row of icons beginning with B I U S

Click the camera icon (not the video camera icon). It will allow you to select
and upload the captured image file from your computer. The captured image will
be inserted at wherever the cursor is located in the text.

The issue here is that when customizing reports and you select the Category tab, the space for the category names is quite narrow. If you have long category names and/or deeply nested subcategories, it can be difficult or impossible to know which category you are selecting.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE - let us see the CATEGORIES we have. Can't you make it the window sizeable - a standard for "a window" . THANK YOU!
