TD Canada - unable to connect my quicken to TD bank account for automatic downloading

TD - unable to connect my quicken to TD bank account for automatic downloading. 
Quicken and TD blaming each other. Quicken said - that they can't do anyting. TD said, they are not even receiving a request from Quicken to download any transactions.

    There are several conversations regarding TD bank connection problems. Just do a search on TD bank and you should get the info you need to correct the problem.

    The issue was reported earlier this week and was closed recently due to an issue with an update with their systems.

    Please indicate whether this is Canadian or USA TD and whether this is Canadian or USA Quicken.

    @Harold: the OP is concerned with Canadian Quicken and Canadian TD. Is your post related to USA TD or Canadian TD?

    The Canadian and US entities use different systems. A situation with one does not necessarily/normally pertain to the other. It is important to differentiate between them.

    @Vlad: if your issue is different than the one that Harold referenced, you will need to provide additional information in order for anyone to provide guidance:
    • Precisely, which version of Q are you using (Help --> About Quicken)
    • How are you attempting to download transactions? Web Connect or Express Web Connect via One Step Update?
    • What happens when you try to download transactions? Do you get an error message? What behaviour do you observe?
    • When did the transaction download last work as expect?
    • When was the last time that you validated your data file? Were any errors detected and/or fixed when last validated?
    • Do you download transactions from any other financial institutions? If yes, is that working OK even though TD is not working OK?
    • Have you tried clicking on the Lightening Bolt Update Now command from the Gear Icon menu on the register of one of the accounts that you want to download? What happens when you do this - try it twice in succession?
    • What other troubleshooting have you attempted?

    this is a Canadian TD and canadian Quicken.

    My TD bank credit card no longer recognizes the dank. I used to download from zzz-TD BankNorth Credit Card. I use TD Credit Card  (USA) and Quicken Deluxe 2017 (USA)

    this is a Canadian TD and canadian Quicken.

    I have had the same issue with the update function for the TD Bank USA for months.  Have to use the Web-Connect within Quicken which is a pain.

    Since yesterday, I have not been able to add my TD canada trust accounts into quicken by automatic downloads. I called TD, and they said all's good on their end. I can't understand what the issue could be. Any answers out there?
