Would you care to specify what Q product your running?  What country? What operating system?  What Build/Release of Quicken?

AND, what any single one of those alleged bugs are?

Sure, sorry for the non-specificity and for treating this as a joke. Usually I'm address online support communities seriously. I am running Quicken Version 4.8.3 (Build 48.20030.100), in the USA, on Mac OS 10.14.2.

The issue is that often when I create new payees with a check that I am writing, Quicken doesn't always save the address of the payee.
    Thanks, Tim

I can't replicate this. I would ask though, did you try clicking the little "Other addresses" button in the lower right corner of the address box on the check writing pane to see if the missing address is listed there?

Hi Rick, thanks for your reply and suggestion. I did try clicking this button and there is only one button in this window, which doesn't contain an address This is despite the fact that I edited the payee and successfully added an address. Certain payees automatically fill in an address, even though there is no address info in the payee list for them.  So I'm stumped.

When you say you edited the payee, is that from the Payee list window? If so, the address you added there was the "bill pay" address. To use this in a check, you need to click the "Use Bill Pay address" as shown below:

Note: that button may not exist in 4.8.3 (only in 5.9.2).

Or, you should be able to directly enter the address in the Checks pane field and it should be saved as long as you have the Payee name entered first.

You are correct in that the "Use Bill Pay Address" button doesn't appear in my version of the software.  For most payees, I first entered the address manually in the Checks pane field, and for most checks (but not all), the address is usually saved.
