Transactions updated on the mobile app don't sync with the PC

So I spend an hour+ going through receipts and updating/ categorizing transactions on the mobile app. I assume (silly me) that these would actually sync with the cloud so my desktop would be correct. When I get on the PC to pay bills and go through expenses none of the transactions I categorized is updated. So now I have to go through my phone and copy all this stuff into the PC version. Why? What a waste of time! I'm just about done with Quicken. I have been using it for over a decade and it has done nothing but get worse. The mobile app is useless, it's just a security risk to have it on my phone so I'll be getting rid of that. I didn't like the idea of my data being on the cloud but I fell for it and went along for the convenience which, with this software, there is none. If I'm going to risk my data being on the cloud I might as well go to a program that actually works.

So tell me what I did wrong, why my transactions won't update from the mobile app.

It may be a problem with your banks software.  Had a problem that transactions after doing a transaction on my cell, would not download. It was determined that the banks software had to be modified. Nothing came down on that account after using the mobile app. After about 5 weeks , the downloads began to work. (it also was a new year) but the one's that did not come down, could be downloaded to a qdf file onto my computer and then updated into quicken.

Yea every Quicken problem is somebody else's problem. I'm sick of messing around, jumping through hoops, calling banks, etc, trying to get this software to work correctly. Like I said if I have to be on the cloud I might as well get a program that works.

When you got back to the desktop, did you go to the Mobile tab and perform a sync?  If you don't sync, the information doesn't transfer.
    -splasher  using Q since 1996 -  Subscription  -  Win10
-also older versions as needed for testing

I am having the same issue. I just spent over 2 hours manually entering some expenses onto my iPhone because its actually faster to use the camera to attach receipts than downloading and attaching receipts but I cannot get the transactions to sync to my PC. I select mobile/alerts, sync, I get an error about a desktop transaction that wont sync and nothing syncs.
