When Quicken starts up, it asks me to login to the quicken id about 4 times (and I verified the user and password as correct on the web site). Then when I try do a synch, it asks me to log in again, then lets me put in my vault password, then it asks me to log in again, and then it says the online services are unavailable. I can log in to the www.quicken.com site just fine with that name and password. This started happening today, after an upgrade to the latest version of quicken 2017 (v R18.6)

I reinstalled quicken from scratch, and everything is working on the same release.

I (unfortunately) said "go ahead" to the Quicken 2017 update this morning to v R18.6 and since then I have not been able to download transactions because it just keeps asking me to login with that stupid Quicken ID thing.  I type in my credentials, it blinks a couple times, then puts up the (now empty) dialogue box again and again to "login" with my Quicken ID.  After I clicked to close the dialogue box, it opened my quicken file, but I can't download without the darned Quicken ID login thing -- then after 5-6 tries to login, it says "Quicken Online services not available at this time.  Sorry for the inconvenience"

I have my credentials correct:  I'm logged into the quicken.com site with the same ID.    I run Windows 7 Pro and I need this error fixed.  It was working fine yesterday before it demanded that I do the update patch.
