Payees list bug - sort by name doesn't work when the list is filtered

The Payees list has a UI bug.  When the list is filtered, sorting by name fails miserably.

Example:
  1. Open my Payees list.
  2. Enter "valley" in the filter box.
  3. Click as needed on the Name column header to soft by name ascending.
  4. Look at the list.
  5. Note that it's a mess.

BUG #1: The list is improperly sorted.  Look closely at the following list.  Note that it's incorrectly sorted.

Note that the list is "chunky sorted".  In the list I'm looking at right now, the entries are:
K AND D BLINDS
Napa Valley Balloons
Palm Valley Country Club
Ygnacio Valley Shell
Ygnacio Valley Shell
Silicon Valley CPAS
K AND D BLINDS
Fern Valley Water
DIAMOND VALLEY TOYOTA
Diablo Valley Imaging
CHERRY VALLEY NURSERY
AMC FASHION VALLEY
<... dozens more, in semi-sorted order ...>

BUG #2: Some payees don't belong in the list at all.  For example, "K AND D BLINDS" doesn't contain the phrase "valley" (yes, I checked).  It should not appear in this list.

Here's a screenshot that illustrates the bug(s):

    Sophie, a few quick questions...

What version of Quicken Mac is this... current (2019 v5.9.2) or older?

What happens if you uncheck the "Show Hidden" box and show only the non-hidden Payees? Are they in proper order or still jumbled?

I haven't been able to replicate an out-of-order Payee list so far in my attempts to do so, but I don't have many hidden payees, and I'm wondering whether that's a factor or not.

Can you determine whether each time it begins from the top of the alphabet, it's jumping to payees in a different account?

In the screen shot you posted, there's a Payee "K AND D VALLEY BLINDS", which belongs there. I don't see one for "K AND D BLINDS" without the "valley", but perhaps you had scrolled partway down the list. Is it possible it's at the top of your list? And is that the only one in the list which doesn't belong?

Here's why I ask that: I was able to do a search of my Payees for "Depot", and I got one Payee without "Depot" (or anything close) in the Payee name. And then I did a search for Payees with "burger", and got one stray Payee without burger in the name. And then one for "computer", and again one stray. And in each case, the stray Payee which didn't below was the first one in the list. It was also first in the list you hand-typed above. So I'm wondering if we can narrow this bug to be a single stray entry at the top of the Payee list? It doesn't happen every time, and I've sometimes gotten a different stray Payee doing the same search at different times -- but it would definitely narrow this bug is we could say it only happens with the first Payee in the list, and only sometimes at that.
