Just informed by Customer Support

Quicken Mobile on iPad is not capable of syncing transactions back to the Quicken cloud making it useless for entering transactions and getting those back to Quicken running on computers.

    It's only a guess, but I believe they are trying to identify some corruption issues this may have been causing.
