Mobile app syncing with desktop and product discontinuation

I have Quicken 2016 and received notice that my product will be discontinued in a few months. I know I will lose the ability to download transactions to the desktop version and I don't care because I don't use it anyways. What I do care is about syncing my mobile app to my desktop version, which I use all the time. The FAQ doesn't specifically address this. Will this feature stop working?

Mobile syncing is considered part of the online services. Mobile syncing will cease for Q2016 on April 30.

  • Sigh. So annual subscription is now the only option?

I have another question. Will I still be able to enter the data into the app and save it, then manually add it to desktop? At least I'll have all my transactions in one place this way.
