I am trying to enable the Automated Banking connect with the Royal Bank in Canada. It works great for Canadian Dollar accounts but the drop down boxes do not allow me to link my quicken accounts to my Royal Bank USD accounts. I have both Canadian and USD accounts at the same bank. Is there a way to do this?

No. You have to write your USD operations manually. I also have a USD account with RBC and I ha the same limits downloading transactions than you have.5

Meanwhile, you can add your VOTE to Merge support for importing data from US and CA FIs/Banks for US and CA versions of QWin.

As far as I can tell - Quick Connect for USD credit cards is not supported. I have USD credit card from RBC and I have to download it manually. The fun part - Quicken is telling me that I can "improve connection", but it does not allow to link it to existing account.Subscription QW H&B Canada0
