What is notification leadtime for Reminders Action in Investment Register and how to change?

When I enter a Reminder action in an investment register, what setting controls the notification lead time for the Reminder?

I don't think you get any lead time for Alerts. They display in the Alerts window on the day you specified and continue to display for the time period selected for that alert type. 

You could create several Reminder actions in your investment account using different near term dates to test out the behavior.

I would use a dummy bill reminder for that one.

If I recall correctly, the Reminder action will show up in Alerts and will stay listed in Alerts for the time specified for the type of Alert. 

If if you want behavior more like a bill or income reminder, I would use a bill or income reminder instead.

But how far in advance does the reminder display?
Or does it start to display on the exact date of the investment reminder date with  no leadtime?

Thanks for clarifying.  I wish an investment transaction could be flagged for advance notice like banking transactions are able.
I'll just use a calendar note or a dummy Scheduled  Bill and Income reminder.

What is it you are trying to remind yourself of?

A debit card expiration that is used with my brokerage account.
