How to link checking account to credit card accounts?
I have used Quicken in the past on the windows platform and could link my checking account to multiple credit card accounts where when I wrote a check for a credit card payment it would automatically show up as a credit on the credit card account. How do I set this up in MAC.

How did you do it on the Qwin platform ?In my Qwin I just edit the payment for the entry
and modify the "category" for the " CC account" using the [acct name] format.
Doesn't that work or exist in the Qmac version ?Quicken 2020 Deluxe - Subscription - Windows 100 -
One of two ways (both do the same thing). In the checking account:
1. In the category column enter "Transfer[nameofcreditcardaccount]", or
2. Turn on the Transfer column (menu View > Columns) and enter the name of the destination credit card account in the Transfer column.
Make sure you enter the amount as a negative number in the checking account. It will show up as a positive amount in the credit card account.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s2 -
