Upgrading from Starter to Deluxe

I just purchased the Starter version of Quicken 2019. When I want to upgrade to Deluxe, I'm asked to pay $49.99 on top of the $34.99 I paid for the Starter. Do I get 2 years of Quicken 2019 Deluxe?

Customer service of the phone was very vague.

HOW are you trying to do that upgrade?  From within Q itself?

Because this webpage is showing the 1 yr price of Starter at $34.99 and 1 year of Deluxe at $49.99 but 2 years of Deluxe is $99.98. https://www.quicken.com/compare

Depending upon EXACTLY how long ago you purchased Starter ... you should only be asked to pay the difference between what you've already paid and the price of the upgraded product.

BUT, if you purchased Starter more than 30 days ago ... yeah you have to pay full price.

You might shop around at eBay, Amazon, Walmart, etc for better pricing and terms.

Thanks, it turns out that after I upgraded to Deluxe I was credited a part of the next year, not a full year, for my purchase of Starter. I received 611 days, not a full 730.

That would suggest that you purchased Starter about 119 days ago.  Does that sound about right?
