My mortgage and home equity accounts were labeled as credit card accounts

When I downloaded my mortgage and home equity accounts to Quicken, they were put under credit cards. How do I change that classification?

    Hello HMG. Appreciate your question.

The reason why they are being shown as that could be coming from when the accounts are being added from the bank. In order to fix the issue, you will have to deactivate the downloads from the current "Credit Card" accounts and then add the accounts as "Loans > Mortgage" and "Loans > Home Equity" and then try to link them appropriately.

If this does not work, please contact your bank and make sure that their systems are showing that they are Mortgage and Home Equity.

    Hope this information is helpful.
