Bill Linking and Billl Linking Reminders

I see no advantage to bill linking. It might be useful if Quicken actually downloaded the bills and attached them to the next scheduled payment to that biller.
Also, register reminders about linking bills are confusing. It is unclear whether the reminder is to pay the bill or to link the bill. Users have to be very careful about what to delete or skip. It would be helpful if users could turn off reminders for bill linking without turning off reminders for bill payments as well.

Are you able to select and edit the reminder to delete the link it now link?

I don't see a way to do that. The only related option in the Edit window is to link it to a biller.

Apparently there is no way to unlink a biller. I guess you just have to ignore it. I googled and found this.

That is not correct. You can easily un-link any online biller. The snapshot below shows where to unlink. As I have already unlinked the biller, the opiton is to link.

The link you provide was about the OP not wanting to see "Link it Now" which does not relate to unlinking.
You can also remove an online biller, but that was not the question.

I clicked LINK IT NOW on my chase account then linked it to TRUGREEN. I then found I could right click on the chase account to unlink or edit the chase account to see the unlink mentioned above by GeoffG. Sometimes a bad answer generates a good one.  ;)
