> I have been using Quicken since it was a DOS product. i have never been as upset with Quicken as I am after seeing a pop up add for an Allstate insurance product. Anyone else?
Agreed -- This is SPAM in a paid product. Spend some of the revenue Quicken earns from these "relationships" to properly code and deliver an OPT OUT feature within the software. This is REQUIRED by SPAM regulations.
We appreciate your feedback on the in-product offers, and we've taken your feedback to our development and marketing teams. While it's possible this could change in the future, the offers will continue to appear when Quicken is launched for now.
All offers may be dismissed by clicking the "x" and selecting to "Close Offer". Once an offer has been closed, it will no longer appear when launching Quicken, unless a new promotion or offer is available.
Thank you,
Sarah

and not the PC version ?
ranting will get it CLOSED.
If quicken starts showing me ads I will cancel and move on to one of the many free options that are now available.
I've used this product for many years and I'll continue to do so unless given a strong reason not to. I see un-skipable startup ads as that strong reason to stop.
This reminds me of when Quicken Windows implemented the splash screens for various financial institutions.
