If I purchase the Home and Business 2019 can I enter my expenses for previous years along with 2019?

I am considering purchasing the H&B 2019 but want to be sure I can enter expenses from previous years (2017 and 2018).

Yes you can manually add transactions as far back as you want. With that said, why? Entering a years worth of expenses is worthless without the offsetting income. Add in reconciling to bank statements and credit card statements and.... This will become an arduous task in short order.

It would be much better to start with Jan 2019 and move forward.

If your financial institution can supply Web Connect .QFX files, you can import them.

Thank you for your reply.  I understand your reasoning for starting with 2019 but I have other reasons to want to put things in retroactively.  Do you know if it will let me import files from my bank or will it need to be entered manually?
