"Save to" does not work anymore

Besides the current bank download issues, my "Save to" command just hangs up and does nothing. I never had issues for the past 10 years and now the basics are falling apart. [removed]

Do you mean File > Save a Copy As... ? What about it doesn't work?

There is no "Save to" command in Quicken.  Are you talking about:
    • "Save a copy as ..." as RJS suggested,
    • the "Save" command for individual transactions,
    • some other command in Q,
    • or a different product?

Yes. I like a backup copy on a travel drive.

This response tells us nothing, as you haven't indicated WHAT you're responding to ... and you've been asked multiple questions with multiple possible answers.
Also, creating a "backup copy on a travel drive" would be the Backup command ... not ANY "save" command.
