Every month went I try to enter our bank account transactions I am unable to save the transaction .

:s This is an ongoing issue. Every month I have the same problem.

    How are you entering your bank transactions? Are you clicking Save for each transaction?

    Yes when I click save the cursor stays on the dollar amount an flashes. The transaction will not save.

    This has been on ongoing issue since the first of the year. I do not have administrative privileges and we do not have on IT specialist on site to assist.

    How can the cursor "stay on the dollar amount" when you've clicked Save?
    Do you mean that it moves from Save to the amount field?

    What version of Quicken are you using? Have you tried tabbing through the fields until Save is highlighted and hitting Enter?

    Also, does this happen with every account ... or just the ONE bank account?

    How you tried creating a test file and just entering 1 transaction? And as @NotACPA asked, does this happen with every account ... or just the ONE bank account?

    You have an old version of Quicken Subscription. Do you have a current subscription? If so, have you tried updating by clicking Help --> Check for updates? Is this the US or Canadian version?

    And, you can't possibly have received Q2018 in 2014.  Obviously you upgraded that older Q at some point ... so why have you not updated Q2018 when prompted to update from within Q?
    Because the current release is 27.1.19.44 for the US and 27.1.16.22 for Canada.

    Instead of clicking on save use the keyboard.  Try doing Ctrl+Enter keys.  That's how I enter and save a transaction in Q2013.
