How To Clear Many Downloaded Transactions

By mistake I downloaded 1000 banking transactions that had already been entered manually. Some are "match" transactions but most are not. I know I can delete them one at a time, but would like to know if there is a way to delete the large downloaded transaction list with a single command ?

There is a better way than one at a time (a way that has been posted here many, many times); but you would likely be better off reverting to a backup from before you deleted the transactions ... as already suggested.

And, if you're not better off reverting to a backup, you should change your backup strategy; so that, in the future, you ARE better off reverting to a backup.
