Downloading Transactions

I'd like to be able to download credit card account and bank account transactions from a Canadian bank (CIBC) into Quicken, however the Quicken I have is the U.S. version. Is there an easy way to do this?

Thank you for providing that information.
Quicken can import QFX files if the financial institution is listed in the bank list.
I did not find any option for CIBC in the US version but did find an option for it the Canadian version.
The best test would be to download a QFX file, then in Quicken go to File > Import > Web Connect (.QFX) file and then choose the downloaded file.
See if you get an error message when attempting this if the file can't be imported then that bank isn't supported in the US version.

To be sure I understand, you are currently using a US version of Quicken and you would like to add an account for the CIBC which is a Canadian bank.
Are you unable to find an option in the bank list to connect to?
What is the year and version of Quicken that you are currently using? Is it the Windows or Mac version?

The bank will provide "csv" or "qfx" files, which contain the transactions I want to download, but I don't know if these can be downloaded directly into my Quicken software.
My Quicken software is Quicken-Premier for Windows. Year: 2019, Version: R19.44 and Build: 27.1.19.44.0 -

I get the response: "Quicken is currently unable to verify the financial institution information for this download. Please try again later."
So, the qfx download doesn't work with CIBC in the U.S. version.0
