Bulk deleting downloaded transactions in investment registers workaround

It is a well documented issue around QUicken's inability to delete downloaded transactions that are duplicates that Quicken does not identify as dups. I am in a situation where I need to reactivate several online connections, resulting in hundreds, if not thousands, of such transactions. The workaround in Banking registers is pretty straightforward...I accept all, and then bulk delete the transactions. However, with investment registers, I cannot figure out a way to identify the downloaded transactions after "accept all" as the investment register does not have near the sorting and searching capabilities. Any thoughts on how I can workaround this Quicken lack of features/capabilities? Thanks

I suggest you accept all the downloaded transactions into the account and then delete all of the accepted transactions using an appropriately customized Transaction report.  Before making any signifiant changes to a data file, always save a backup (press Ctrl + B).

But what field / Attribute can I use to identify the downloaded transactions?

The accepted transactions will all have a c in their Clr column. So, if you do not have any transactions with a c in their Clr column before you accept the imported transactions you want to delete, it's a simple sort in the report to group them together for selection.

Alternately, you could move all the transactions you wish to keep into a temporary account before you accept the imported transactions you want to delete.  Then, use the report to delete the transactions and move the transactions back.
