Capital One transactions are not downloading. Anyone else having similar issues?

Not getting any transactions downloaded from Capital One (includes checking, savings and credit cards) since 7/15. Note: there are CLEARED transactions but they are not coming down. One-Step update shows no errors, just says 0 transactions downloaded. Using Windows subscription V R20.15, build 27.1.20.15. Quicken just updated today. Still having issue.

    I've a similar problem that seems to come and go. Problem is only with Capital One CC and no error messages about download. I am on version R20.15, build 27.1.20.15

    My CapitalOne checking and savings transactions seem to be a day later downloading than expected. For example, I can see on the CapitalOne website that transactions cleared last night, but they did not download into Quicken. There were no One Step Update errors. History shows that they will download tomorrow. I have no problems with any of my other accounts. CapitalOne assures me that they are not intentionally delaying Quicken's connection. Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions?

    Yes none of my accounts are downloading from Capital One either. I have reset and re-added. All transaction downloads have ceased essentially. Someone needs to fix it either at Quicken or at Capital One.

    I'm having exactly the same issue with my Capital One CC account and my BoA checking accounts. I have to go back in and download manually, even though they've already posted to my accounts.

    I'm not sure if the recent update affected this or if it's an issue on the Capital One 360 end, but for some reason my one step update no longer works on the Capital One 360 accounts. I don't get an error but it simply does not download transactions. If I go into one of the accounts and do a reset account on the Online Services page, it re-authorizes and downloads my transactions for all of the accounts. I've done this twice over the last week or so.

    I tried the reset and decactivate/reactivate and it does not work, seems to be an on again, off again problem over the last two weeks..called capital one and was put on hold and then lost connection...clueless.. the online balance is correct, but the transactions are not downloading.

    Is anyone out there having issues downloading transactions form Captial One? Spoke to quicken and they said this was a bank issue. Is there any fix???

    Are you receiving any error messages? How are you connecting to Capital One? What type of account?

    it is a business checking account, express web connect. had a long conversation with quicken and they said it was a capitol one issue and the i need to elevate this to their "ofx" department, i have sent email to capital one and will speak to my branch manager today...the download balance is correct, but transactions are not being downloaded., no error messages..

    I am having the same issue. I have been for a while. Sometimes doing a reset account works but even that as of late hasn't been working to get the transactions.

    Just as a test, have you tried creating a new Q data file and adding the Capital One account?

  • I have had the same issue, too. It just started last night. I've tried everything but it doesn't work for Capital One or any financial institution. Quicken is useless if this is going to continue.

    Yes, i tried all of the tests that you mentioned , went thru the this over an hour with quicken and they said it was a capital one issue..The reset worked last week , but does not work this week.. Deactivating and reactivating, also does not work..this week...

    Yes I am having the same problem! My transactions have cleared all the way through 7/24 but I can't download them. The last download was 7/20. This was also happening before the update.

    I have the same problem with all my Cap One accounts(personal, business and credit cards). No errors, the downloads show successful. I have been through it with Quicken support for over an hour. I have reset my accounts. I have deleted and re-created my connection. I have created a new QIF file and set my accounts up there. I cannot get transactions past 7/19 to come down. Quicken blames Cap One. Cap One actually has a Quicken extension when you call in and the operator takes your information and tells you that someone will get back to you within two days... they don't.

    Clearly there is a larger issue that is for Quicken to resolve with the bank, and for the amount their software now costs on an ongoing and perpetual basis, this is frankly unacceptable.

    I am having the same issue with my checking account. I have transactions that cleared the bank on 7/19 (Friday) and 7/22 (Monday) and after. Transactions that cleared on 7/19 have downloaded, nothing since. The process completes normally, just no transactions download. I am using Capital One Bank - New and Express Web Connect. I have a couple of CC transactions on 7/22 that downloaded. I have other credit card and investment accounts that are all working.

    I have Q2017, Build 26.1.19.5. The "Reset Account" button hasn't helped for 2 years. I now just immediately try to deactivate and re-activate, which I just did. This did not help.

    For quite a while now, transactions that have cleared the bank have not downloaded for at least one more business day. But it's now 3 days later. To my thinking, if a transaction has cleared the bank, it should download. Is this Quicken's opinion?

    what you just posted, is what is supposed to happen when it works.

    it is not working...quicken needs to fix this..

    It did seem like that was how it was working. I called CapOne to ask about this, but the first line people who answer the Quicken phone have no idea how it works.

    I'm not too crazy that it works like that, but at least it's consistent. Still broken, though; no downloads from 7/22.

    This is the error message I get on Quicken: Quicken is unable to update this account because Web Connect support for your financial institution has been either temporarily, or permanently discontinued [CC-885]. Called Capital One and they said there is no problem on their end. Have not been able to download since April 2019. My Quicken is up to date - version 4.8.5 for Mac.

    I wrote an email to [email protected], [email protected], and
    [email protected] year we had a similar issue...and they did respond and kept me in the loop...richard fairbanks is the ceo of capital one.
    If this problem is not fixed, then i might as well start using a manual entry checkbook.

    Having the same problems. I have deactivating all accounts and then reactivating one by one? Quicken says there are no new transactions, but there are. I called Quicken and they act as if they don't have a problem. I also had them share screen with me. Nothing worked. This has all been since the new update. Quicken needs to fix the problem they have with Capital One.

    I have tried writing to capital one..and no response..will complain to my local branch today...
