One Step Update & Quicken Cloud Sync

I have 2 issues.
1) When I do a sync to Quicken Cloud the sync works but the application always hangs. It will sit there for as long as you let it. Once you force Quicken to shut down the One Step update indicates Quicken Cloud Sync Successful.
2) When doing the One Step Update there is a message under Services Updated section that says "68 of 92 quotes and investing headlines updated. See a report" when you click the report hyperlink you get a report that has a zero in the security name field but that's it.

1) I don't use Quicken Cloud much, as I used to have similar issues a lot (my data file goes back to 2001, so a lot of data). Have you tried resetting your Cloud data? That's something I've seen recommended by Quicken before.
2) Looks like to me that you have a rouge stock running around in your stock list that you need to find and excise. At least that's what the download screen looks like.
Ctrl-y is the shortcut to get to that screen.
My guess on the others is that you have stocks you are tracking that don't have tickers or have tickers that Quicken's service doesn't understand or know about. I have this problem with most of the funds now in my US 401(k) where Fidelity and my employer have switched to things like that Vanguard 500 Trust which doesn't have a ticker.
You can use the internal ticker lookup or you can go to https://investing.quicken.com and after logging in use the lookup for quotes to do the same thing. If symbol returns nothing, then Quicken won't download it either, even if it's a real symbol you can find elsewhere in my experience.

I have tried to reset my cloud data a number of times to no avail. I also have trouble with the cloud data messing up some categories for some reason. I have had this happen to me twice now so I think I will disable the sync for now although I like the web based app.
I went through my securities and found a number of securities where the tickers don't play in quicken. Removing them fixed the problem. Thanks for the tip Michael1 -
I THINK you can call Quicken tech support and have them wipe your cloud data completely as if you were starting over from scratch.
Glad the other one helped with the tickers!0 -
So yesterday after deleting the cloud data I found a reconciled transaction for payroll from July disappeared. I think there are some shortcomings to the cloud sync function. Thanks again for your assistance.
