Capital One download access bypasses Password Vault security

When downloading transactions from Capital One, Quicken does not ask for my password vault password.  In fact, when looking at the Capital One account in the password vault, it shows that a password is not required.  This seems to defeat the concept of the password protected password vault.  Please make Capital One downloads consistently obey the same requirements for any online account access that has entries in a password protected password vault.

CapOne uses a new process which uses a token stored on your computer that was established when the connection was established, therefore, it does not need a password in subsequent connections.
Whether that is a good idea or not, no comment, but it is what was established.

Thanks for explaining.  It kind of defeats the purpose of a password vault.

I agree.  I didn't fully understand it all when it was tested and I don't use any Express Web Connect connections, so I have not investigated it further since.
