Quicken goes into endless loop

I am using the latest update of Quicken Home and Business on Windows 10. For about the last two weeks, each time I use the program and perform certain tasks, it will arbitrarily go into an endless loop that requires terminating the program. Sometimes I can restart it and continue working without issue, and other times the same issue occurs. It seems to occur around One Step Updates and accepting downloaded transactions.

I have performed a file validation and repair which uncovered minor issues that were resolved, and had the same problem. I would appreciate any insights anyone might have to identify a resolution. -Gus

    What is the full path to the folder that contains your Quicken data file? Are you using OneDrive, Dropbox or Google Backup? Do you have Controlled Folder Access enabled in Windows Defender?
