Executor Needs Access to QDF File Password - Quicken Cash Manager 2009

A family member suddenly passed away. All financial records for the family are stored in a password protected QDF file and unfortunately, there is no record of the password that was used. As executor for the estate of the deceased, is there any method/procedure to have this file (created in Cash Manager 2009) unlocked by Quicken?

There is no backdoor method to gain access to a password protected Quicken data file. While they only list currently supported versions, you may be able to get assistance here.
