Time of year (seasonal) bill reminder giving error

Setting up bill reminders I'm getting an error popup that says, "Quicken can't find a matching transaction at this time last year". There definitely is a transaction with the identical payee and category on the exact same day of the prior year, in the same account. (In fact, there are 6 years of that same monthly transaction in the account)

I have another bill reminder I had just set up for another payee using this feature and it worked fine.

    I just happened to look into your user profile and noticed that you are defined as a Mac user.
    However, this question is categorized for a Windows category.
    What are you using: Quicken Mac or Quicken Windows?
    What version of Quicken are you using? Click Help / About Quicken (Mac: Quicken / About Quicken) to get this information.

    Just curious, what exact steps did you perform to get to that special entry ?
    I can't seem to duplicate it - Qwin 21.16 -
    --> Tools --> Manage Bill & Income Reminders --> ?

    I had not used this feature, so found it and played a little... on my Qwin system -
    --> Manage Bill & Income Reminder --> Add Bill --> Manual --> Pay To [..]
    I'm not sure if this becomes part of the challenge.
    When I tried to just enter a Payee - that had been used, but for some reason not "Memorized" - it would not find the previous transactions.
    If I used one from "Memorized Payee List" name - then it would find the previous entries -
    And to get to the special dialog --> Optional at the bottom --> Estimate (change)

    1. Open Bills & Income tab
    2. Create a new manual bill reminder (plus button on top right)
    3. Enter name that matches existing, memorized transactions for that payee
    4. Click the "(change)" link after "Estimate amount for me"
    5. Change 1st dropdown to "Time of year"

    and the Payee name is being populated from the list as you type in the Pay To box.
    also - if using "Time of Year" - it targets the exact date +/- a week
    vs using "Previous Payments"

    Yes, the payee name is populated as I begin to type it and I select it.

    As I said in original comment...

    I just tried it again, and the Pay To [..] box has the drop down name that I selected,
    but the actual transaction from last year was not exactly the same text...
    - Memorized Payee List --> Apmex.com
    - Cleared entry from last year --> Apmex Inc
    So, I updated the Register transaction from Apmex Inc --> Apmex.com
    and then it worked correctly for the "Time of Year" selection.

    Yeah, I thought of that and had changed all of them (6+ years worth) to make sure they are identical. Still no luck.
