Reports - Would like a monthly subtotal in categories

Quicken for Windows offered a monthly subtotal in reports. I would really like to see this in Quicken for MAC. It takes a long time to do a separate report by month in a category, e.g. groceries to compare monthly spending

@Finth There is a way to do this currently, although perhaps not in the format you were expecting.

• On the reports menu, select Create summary Report
• Select Rows=Category
• Select Columns=Time
• Select Interval=Month
• Continue to Customize
• Set your data parameters, such as Last 12 Months or This Year
• If you wish to limit the report to certain categories or certain accounts, set those filters
• Generate the report

The resulting report lists all your categories down the page, and all the months going across, with a total for each category at the far right. (Doing every category for a period of 12 months can make for an unwieldy-looking report; it's probably more easier to use if you limit the number of categories or have fewer months, such as Last Quarter.)
