Is anyone have problems with VALIC connection - OL-292 error -

I've been getting an OL-292-B error for the past few days. I tried doing a "reset account" and that totally froze Quicken, need to close via Task Manager. I then "Deactivated" the account and tried to set it up again and got the OL-292-B error. Has anyone figured out a solution? Thank you?

  • Strangely Valic is not listed under the Financial Institution dropdown list? I'm unable to complete the steps you've listed. Do you have any other thoughts? Thank you.

The FI list does have it listed -
    09880    09880    09880    VALIC    http://www.valic.com    1-800-448-2542    http://www.valic.com    ACTIVE    ACCOUNTINFO,INVESTMENT,401K&DIRECT                   NOT_QBP    NA
    What version of Quicken ?
How can you have VALIC setup for downloading -
and NOT have it appear in your Online Center list of FI's ?

Is there any other way to manually invoke the FI refresh -
other than the weird keyboard combo -
as it seems to happen anyway and automatically when using One Step Update
    1. Choose Tools menu > Online Center.
    2. Select the financial institution you want to update from the Financial Institution dropdown list.
    3. Hold down CTRL+F3 on your keyboard and click Contact Info at the top of the Online Center.
    4. Select the financial institution you want to update and click Refresh. The branding and profile information will be listed under current status as "needs updating."

In my experience, when we deactivate the Online Services of all of the registers associated with a financial institution and subsequently setup the Online Services for a register associated with the financial institution, the financial institution's branding and profile information is refreshed.

I was getting the same error and just tried again and now it's working again. Usually with Valic, if you wait 3 - 4 days, things start working again. This one took a little longer.
